Kadomatsu Making

Kadomatsu are elaborate decorations put on the entrances of homes in order to welcome the New Year. Made of pine or bamboo, the exquisite kadomatsu are a traditional New Year symbol in Japan, and their use has been recorded in Japanese poetry. Visitors can enjoy making kodamatsu during the end of year/new year holidays.
